Railway stations are one such place, where you can see the cross section of a society. People from all walks of life would be present in such a small place on a busy day.
Let’s see how was the Nashik Railway station on that day.

As it was the time of the Kumbh mela, the prime colour in Nashik was Saffron.

But there were other colours too.

Apart from the pilgrims, there were other people too.

Hey Jithin, Time keeps ticking and your camera keeps clicking:)
Cheers!!

Thank you so much. Glad you liked it. It is one place, you can just sit somewhere and newer and newer subjects will come to you. 😉

Yes, true. One can spend hours just sitting and watching 🙂 And in your case, clicking…

Yes, except that a camera attracts some serious attention while sitting there is quite a harmless activity 😉

So, how do people react to it? Are they eager to be clicked or do they feel it is an intrusion?
LikeLiked by 1 person
I try not to intrude which means I try to take pictures when they are not aware, when they are looking away etc. A zoom lens helps in this regard. I rarely go in front of them and take pictures. But there are some people who loves to be clicked by a “proper camera” 😉

I have always been fascinated in Indian railway stations. They seem to be chaotic to the untrained eye, but the locals just get on with it without a care in the world! 😀 Definitely great places for people watching!

haha.. you did the right observation. Chaos is a routine here 😀

Great photos! The many different people passing by. I so often wonder what a person’s story is when I see them, sitting and thinking, or just passing by.
The (were they) police with the dogs, what were the dogs for? Or had they strayed onto the platform?
As always, love your journey through pictures! 🙂

Thank you Fim. I hope you are doing well 🙂
Yes, it is interesting to observe people and think about their stories.
Yes, they were police men with sniffer dogs to find out any potential threats in the railway station. But in another picture you can find a stray dog too.
Thank you for your kind words 🙂
