It was such a beautiful morning for anyone to start a journeyThings were happening quite normally all aroundAnd I started my S10 journey that morning
But I wasnt the only one who got bored of doing nothingWhile Others had gadgets, I had my camera to use my time in a better wayAnd I started observing PeopleAnd what they were doingThen i found interesting things to captureAnd I found legs all aroundIn that crowd, no one cared about themThen someone said ‘check out hands too’And there was this beautiful hands hiddenAnd some where busy undoing the entanglementBut watching people was the best partSomeone was listening to MusicSomeone was enjoying the beauty outsideSomeone was enjoying the view from insideSomeone was deeply in thoughtsSomeone was on the phoneWhile someone was at the doorThen the Ticket Examiner came and started doing his workSame time someone else was busy with his work tooBut then it was time for the BreakfastWhile someone was eating and....and waiting for teaSomeone else was still sleepingSome others were just talking somethingBut then someone was trying hard to make her less colourful life a bit more colourfulBut some others were relaxing knowing that they have a colourful lifeOut of these contrast within a small space, someone said everything is going to be alright. With that assurance, my S10 journey continuedThrough “mistifying”Beautiful and surrealLandscapes of IndiaWith Lush Greenery All aroundSo that was my S10 Journey
Ha ha.. yes.. it is.. and some day I shall invite you over.. but right now this place is a mess.. and while you might not know this.. I was sort of an invalid for the last two years.. so just coming back to life.. trying to, at least.. so some day, yes, you are welcome to come over …
Yes, I am sort of aware of it from your posts and comments. I am glad you are doing better and taking control. It would be a pleasure to get invited to see the beautiful sunset in that beach 🙂
I never used to sneak into other’s privacy. But this time i was too bored. So I took the liberties of a so called photographer 😉
Well i meant “mistified” view 😀
In India, people like to be photgraphed. Once, I was trying (embarrassingly) street photography, you wouldn’t believe that some people stopped me and requested to click their photo. They were mistaking me to be some media person.;)
This was beautiful. Not only great and beautiful photos, but what I love about you is that you are able to capture people as they truly are. You have a gift. It shows through in every photo. These are my favorite types of photos you do, for that reason. Absolutely love these.
Much love to you, CC
What a fantastic series Jithin. Really great, I felt like I was on the train with you. Like the comments in the comments about people liking to have there pic taken, too, I was wondering. My favourites are: the funny shot of the foot with one toenail painted, the little child staring out the window, that is gorgeous, the old woman with her plastic bags, and the b& w series at the end looking out from the train, the misting ones…. really great, thankyou.
Thanks a lot Debbie. Some people do like their picture to be taken. They sometime stop and pose for us seeing the big camera and all.
I was experimenting with colour and BnW. They are not processed. They are taken that way only. Glad you liked the series 🙂
All the clicks are really awesome.. Truly shows your genius and creative photography skills.
All Those feet and then suddenly the arms propping up was hilarious.
Didn’t anyone object to your clicking their pictures..or were you stealthily doing your job? 😉
Thanks a lot Hargun. Mostly it was a stealth operation. 😉 And there are a few advantages if you are having a dslr. Its not like clicking with a cellphone 😉
One of the wonderful posts from you which I enjoyed. I can never pull out my camera in Indian trains and click like you did. I feel too conscious that someone will steal it and what people would think.
Thanks a lot man. Yes I also have similar feelings. But there is one more feeling when you miss an opportunity even when you had a camera with you which was safely kept inside the bag 😉
And during this secret op, most of the people didnt know that someone was photographing them 😉
You mean these activities are dangerous… oh I thought you do lot of adventurous things anyway(: … your book is nice only, I have no regrets of taking it from you…surpassed my expectations, though yet to read it fully will do it someday(:
I brought it because I meant to encourage you… tell me if I am not a chethan bhagat fan whose book people like reading then what opinion will I have of Indian authors… I am true reader of quality content, not masala stuff… yours did not have masala and all, good flow, continuity… some chronological order disruptions, but good logic, and interesting story… I have to read more of it, but it’s good book…maybe than I can give full opinions both good and bad… I can be a nasty critic too…
This is awesome Jithin, had missed your posts. The photography is stunning. I loved how real the photos are. How do you manage to get people/strangers to accept having their photos taken?
Nice one… thank you for sharing. Where is this? Around the Jolarpettai area?

It was a journey from Bangalore to Mumbai. The foggy ones were near Lonavala. Other ones from in between places.
Glad you liked it. Thank you 🙂

haha.. i know that feeling. Happened quite a few times. But not everyone is interested. And a female photographer at times has certain advantages too.

Ha ha ha… Haven’t come across any advantages so far.
